Guillermo Buitrago’s trio.
In 1943 he was part of the first musical recording produced entirely in Colombia by Discos Fuentes. Formed at that time by Julio Bovea (2nd guitar) and Ezequiel Rodríguez (guacharaca), around the 1947 Julio Bovéa and Ezequiel Rodríguez left the group to make way for Ángel Fontanilla (2nd guitar) and Carlos “El Mocho” Rubio (guacharaca), a line-up that would remain until the end of his days.
